TURNING TOWARD THE SUN: AN EVENING OF MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT TO BENEFIT THE MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION OF GREATER LOS ANGELES

LOCAL MUSICIANS AND ENTERTAINERS UNITE FOR A GREAT CAUSE!

ARTISTS FOR HEALING together with GOLDEN STATE MUSIC and POPDOSE.COM will be helping to fulfill wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions by hosting Turning Toward the Sun: An Evening of Music and Entertainment at Safari Sam's (5214 W Sunset Blvd, Hollywood CA) on September 14, 2008 at 7:30PM. Tickets will be $10 dollars and 100% of the net proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles.

The variety show themed event will feature performances by local bands Moving Picture Show, Just Off Turner & Brandon Schott (who will be joined by a string quartet for this exclusive engagement), as well as a silent auction, door prizes, a special presentation by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles, and other special attractions!

"I recently went through a serious life-threatening medical journey myself, and the amount of love and support I received during that critical time was beautifully overwhelming," said singer-songwriter Brandon Schott, one of the event's organizers and the founder of Artists for Healing. "In creating the organization Artists for Healing, and pulling together this event – I'm taking a small first step towards repaying some of that karma back. My dream is to raise enough money with our efforts here to help the foundation make it a little easier for a child and their family in the Los Angeles area going through a rough time."

For tickets to this event or more information visit artistsforhealing.net or contact Winnie Jow at winnie@brandonschott.com or 818-415-6602.
