Volunteer for Step Up's First Goddess Day of the 2008-2009 School Year Self-Esteem & Jewelry-Making Step Up to a Goddess Day devoted to developing Step Up girls into healthy, confident women. Claire Mysko, co-founder of Inside Beauty, an outreach program dedicated to promoting a healthy body image, will facilitate discussion groups with Step Up members and students. Claire will discuss the following topics: eating disorders, female bodies as portrayed in the media, and growing up as a young woman today. Famed Jewelry Designer, Roberta Chiarella will facilitate workshops on making your own jewelry. Work one-on-one with Step Up students to design necklaces, bracelets, and more.
