Fwd: Upcoming Events at the New Museum

Get Weird: Ninjasonik and Cerebral Ballzy

The New Museum presents a hyperactive and sweaty party for December's Get Weird: Ninjasonik's relentless beats and unstoppable swagger bring together the propulsive chant of Baltimore Club with anything-for-a-beat scavenging, and Cerebral Ballzy brings us the newest and brightest crew in the rough-knuckled lineage of New York Hardcore.

Thursday, December 18 | 7:30 PM
Buy tickets now: $8 Members, $10 General Public

Millennial Territory Orchestra

We Are MTO, the title of the latest recording by Steven Bernstein and his Millennial Territory Orchestra is a defiant declaration from an underground New York City band whose "underground" has been slowly and surely paved over with condos and nightclubs. Tonight the MTO will perform this recording live, plus other jams from their catalogue.

Friday, December 19 | 7:30 PM
Buy tickets now: $8 Members, $10 General Public

Differential Criteria

This interactive presentation, "Differential Criteria: Interactive Presentation and Conversation with Niko Vicario" finds its locus at the intersection of 1960s art education publishing and interdisciplinary art production that enunciated the notion of "differential criteria" as a means to judge the art product and the art student.

Saturday, December 20 | 3PM
Free with Museum admission

Big Dance Theater: Comme Toujours Here I Stand

Big Dance Theater's new work entitled Comme Toujours Here I Stand reinvents Agnes Varda's classic French New Wave film Cleo From 5 to 7 for the stage.

A Q&A with company directors Annie-B Parson and Paul Lazar will follow the presentation.

Friday, January 9 | Two times: 4PM & 7PM
Buy tickets now: $18 Members, $20 General Public
PLEASE NOTE: Seating is extremely limited for both performances. We strongly advise patrons to buy tickets in advance.
