Join CMA this weekend as we kick off: Free Art Island Outpost! A summer-long free family program on Governors Island Saturday, May 30th 11am to 3pm Opening Day Family Festival In partnership with Governors Island Preservation and Education Corporation, CMA will provide FREE family art programs on Governors Island all summer long! Every weekend from May 30th to October 4th, CMA teaching artists will lead workshops in painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, installation and much more! Each weekend has a different theme, new projects, & new experiences! A short 8 minute ferry ride away, your family will find a full day of outdoor art programming all free of charge! Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, 11am-3pm, all summer long. Click here for more info. Governors Island is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from May 30 to October 11. On Fridays, the Island is open from 10 am to 5 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, the Island is open from 10 am to 7 pm.
