..the excellent Woodhands are playing live for us!!!! These guys have played for us only once before at our old Robot Rock party... and they were awesome... so when we saw they were coming back, we did what we had to do to snag them for our Saturday over at Tribeca Grand. They'll be playing live at 11pm.
Alex English will also be DJing, and we'll be joined by your hosts: The 66Sick Girls, Zackery Michael and Aaron Kolfage.
And let's not forget the drinks speciasl:

Yes, we are back at Highbar on Sunday... and despite three weeks of rain and thunderstorms, we've still been having great parties up on the Highbar rooftop...
This week is our biggest line-up so far... and if the weatherman is to be believed, it looks like the weather might be good too... which means we are getting excited for Sunday
DJ Afro of Los Amigos Invisibles is spinning, plus we have a live performance by the unusual Danish artist Hess is More (check out his mypsace page here + download a free track by him here) who is on the Nublu Records roster. He'll be performing live for us.
You can expect an aural diet of afro-latin, house, disco, electro, jazz and world beats.

At the end of the day, there are really only a handful of remixers out there who have musical ears. You know what we're talking about: all those DJ/producers who can't keep things in the right key, or those other ones who are so harmonically challenged you think their headphones might be broken. And that's before we get into the monotony of their original work.
So when we hear a remix that does exciting things to a track, not only rhythmically but melodically and harmonically too, well...it gets us excited.

Feadz - People Numbers Money Business Teaser
Everybody knows Feadz is nice on the decks, but people seem a little dazed by his releases. Happy Meal was too crazy for most, and we understand; Feadz makes crazy records to use in his crazy sets, and not everybody lives that dangerously.
But if this teaser mix for his upcoming full-length, titled People Numbers Money Business, is any indication, it sounds like the man has decided to make something for the folks at home as well as the dancefloor. Very exciting!
