The Silk Road exhibition at the American Natural History Museum explores one of the greatest trading routes in history, the legendary Silk Road. The journey will take you through the ancient cities from the Middle East to Asia during AD600-1200. In conjunction with this amazing Exhibition, the Global Weekends program features Bollywood and Anime on April 17 (Sat) and 18 (Sun). More info here.

Featured anime films at this program are U.S. Premiere of YONA YONA PENGUIN (directed by Rintaro, produced by Madhouse) and EUREKA SEVEN: GOOD NIGHT, SLEEP TIGHT, YOUNG LOVERS (directed by Tomoki Kyoda, produced by Bones). In addition to the jam-packed program of the Global Weekends is the performance of West Coast/Tokyo based Japanese Hip Hop artist, Shing02! Shing02 is well known for the opening theme song, "Battlecry" (produced by the late Nujabes) for the anime SAMURAI CHAMPLOO. This is a rare chance to see Shing02 perform in NYC. More info here.

At the Anime Galleria, exciting game titles will be available for hands-on play! One of the biggest titles is MONSTER HUNTER™ TRI by Capcom.
