THURSDAY APR 23, 9:30 PM PERFORMANCE ASTRID STEINER AND FRIENDS Astrid Steiner Charles Baudelaire's poem "Correspondences" is the basis for a composition by Gene Pritsker, originally scored for chorus, chamber orchestra, Di.J. (live Samplestra electronics) and accompanied by a live video composition of Astrid STEINER. Gene Pritsker will manipulate the live instruments and chorus and improvise on the material with electronics, while Steiner creates a visual hommage to the scents of New York.
