And while I can no longer (freely) imbibe my love of gin at this weekly gathering, at least I can still enjoy a fine vodka cocktail in one of the finer downtown cocktail spots still free of midtown cheese. (not that there is anything wrong with midtown, my inner New Jersey love's me a stint at Johnny Utahs here and there.)
