Highlights include a new concerto by the ACO Artistic Director Robert Beaser and the "consistently fresh, inventive, surprising" (Fanfare) Lukas Ligeti, who melds electronic wizardry, jazz improvisation, European modernism, and world music rhythms in his American orchestral debut on his marimba synthesizer.
