Admired around the world for his musical talent, Takemitsu was also known for his ability to forge friendships with artists across disciplines and cultures. Peter Grilli, a longtime friend of the composer, offers this personal commentary. To order online, student subscribers must sign in and enter code Student6800 before selecting seats. Non-student subscribers must buy $10 student tickets at the Box Office and must present a valid student photo ID. Student discount tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be discontinued at any time. NEW! As a special benefit for our student subscribers, the $10 convenience fee has been reduced to only $1 per ticket. This reduced fee is only valid on $10 student tickets purchased online or through CarnegieCharge, and cannot be applied to student subscriptions.
