The ACFNY presents the first major composer's portrait of this outstanding Japanese composer in the United States. Toshio Hosokawa is a student of renowned composers Isang Yun and Helmut Lachenmann, among others. He has been invited to nearly all of the major contemporary music festivals in Europe as composer in residence, guest composer or lecturer.
The JACK QUARTET has established a reputation for giving high-energy performances of today's most demanding works for string quartet.
